Golf and Sprint Cars

Good times today with Brian and Tony on the golf course. I feel super lucky to live here in the summers. Beautiful weather topping out around 80 degrees and better views in the distance.

Shot a 39 with four boagies and a birdie. Nearly had my first hole in one with a great shot into the par three eighth hole. Hit the front right part of the green and had the ball roll slowly by the cup. Missed it by inches. Can't complain about a kick in birdie.

Hit the last night of Clay Cup at Deming Speedway with Mike and Tony. Last two races of the light were fantastic. Quality driving and competition combined with the guy that doesn't race clean getting a healthy dose of karma. There was an audible cheer from the crowd when he got his deserved result. Was nice to catch up with Alex and Terry Lewis in the pits after the race. It's fun having ex-students drive sprint cars. Terry ran a great B-main and Alex was one position of earning the hard charger award in the feature.
